Each year, UGA AMSA attends the AMSA National Convention in Washington D.C.! Approximately 15 members travel to the three-day-long conference for a hands-on immersive learning experience designed to enrich the desire for pre-medical education.
Due to COVID-19, the 2021 Convention will be done completely online. Each day there will be 3-4 topics presented per hour and participating members will have the opportunity to choose which sessions they'd like to attend. These sessions include exhibits/booths from med schools, MCAT test prep, ARMY, and more! Each day will begin with a keynote speech from leaders within the medical, public health, or related communities. For more information about the convention click here!
Registration for this event will cost $110 if you sign up by March 1st and will then raise to $120 from March 1st - 5th. Our chapter will be reimbursing $80 via venmo for the first 50 members that register, which means our members will only have to cover $29 if registered by 3/1! Click this link to register for the convention, and then complete this google form for reimbursement.
The dates for National Convention 2021 are March 6-8th and will be held from 12pm - 6pm each day.
